On Jan. 21, BBP staff, students, and community members came together to review and discuss the results of December’s strategic plan survey, which gathered feedback on the district’s strengths, areas for growth and future priorities. This in-person meeting continued an important districtwide conversation, with participants sharing thoughtful insights that will help inform the next phase of our strategic planning process.
In 2023, we asked our Bayport-Blue Point community to share their perspectives, and that feedback played a vital role in shaping our current strategic plan. That plan has helped guide district decisions, clarify priorities and define what we value as a school community.
Previously, the priorities of Community Connections, Academic Excellence and the Student Experience emerged. In this new planning cycle, a key objective has been to assess the continued relevance of these focus areas and to determine whether additional or alternative priorities should be considered.
We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to participate, whether by completing the survey or attending the community meeting. Your feedback remains central to this work as we plan for the future of Bayport-Blue Point together.
