BBP Highlight

Let's say hello to Mrs. Pintar & Mrs. Kelly! Mrs. Pintar and Mrs. Kelly began teaching in BBP HighSchool in the Fall of 2009, marking this their 15th year in the district. With Mrs.Kelly's background as a clown for birthday parties & Mrs.Pintar's background working for a D.J. at LI catering halls, it only made sense for the two to join forces as class advisors. This iscurrently their 9th year working as class advisors. #BBP #NiceToMeetYou #BBPconnections

Track & Field

On Jan. 6, Ansley B., Ava B., Sophia M. and Maggie Y. ran a 4x400 relay at 4 minutes and 2 seconds, a NYS leading time, at the Armory Hispanic Games. The time qualified the students for nationals. A few days later, the students were back at the Armory, where they ran the race again in the same time, qualifying them for the prestigious Millrose Games in February. After the Millrose trials, the students ran a 4x800 meter relay at Yale University. The same relay team won the race, set a new meet record, qualified for nationals and broke the former BBP record by 16 seconds. They now hold the number one time in the country.
