Today, on National First Responders Day, Bayport-Blue Point students had the chance to say “thank you” directly to some of the people who help keep their community safe.
Representatives from the Suffolk County Police Department’s 5th Precinct, Bayport Fire Department, Blue Point Fire Department and Community Ambulance visited schools throughout the district as part of BBP’s third annual First Responders Day.
Students welcomed their special guests with handmade cards and messages of appreciation, while also getting the chance to meet and speak with local first responders.
Thank you to all of the first responders who spent time with our students today and for all you do for the Bayport-Blue Point community!
