AED Access Photo

On March 25, 2000, 14-year-old Louis J. Acompora tragically died from sudden cardiac arrest caused by commotio cordis after a blow to the chest during his first high school lacrosse game.

Today, BBP had the privilege of personally thanking Mrs. Acompora for her tireless work to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest, increase AED access, and help save young lives. Since Louis's Law was passed, 140 lives have been saved in New York State.

In addition to each building, we are proud that BBP now has an AED located on the football field, helping ensure that life-saving equipment is close at hand when it is needed most. ❤️
