Bayport-Blue Point High School student-athletes are heading into the fall season with recognition from Newsday, earning spots among Long Island’s top athletes and teams.
In soccer, seniors Mia M. and Alex K. were named among Newsday’s Top 100 Long Island soccer players. The varsity field hockey team earned the No. 7 spot on Newsday’s Top 10 Long Island field hockey teams, led by captains Madeline C., Olivia F. and Lily L.
Girls tennis players Eden R., a freshman, and seniors Evie R. and Lily C. were selected among Newsday’s Top 25 Long Island girls tennis players.
Rounding out the honors, junior Brayden W. and senior Patrick A. were named among Newsday’s Top 100 Long Island high school football players.
