Mr. Peshkur’s class had a great time visiting the Bayport Fire Department! Students got to explore the firehouse, climb aboard different fire trucks and even try out the fire hose.
They also had the chance to see firefighters in full gear, giving them a better idea of what to expect if they ever encounter a firefighter during an emergency. The visit gave students a chance to learn about the work firefighters do while getting an up-close look at the trucks and equipment they use.
Thank you to the Bayport Fire Department for welcoming Mr. Peshkur’s class and giving the students the opportunity to learn about fire safety in a hands-on way!
