Blue Point Elementary’s kindergarten students got up close with some feathered and furry friends during a visit from Suffolk County Farm. Goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits visited the school, giving students a hands-on opportunity to observe the animals and learn about their unique adaptations, physical features and behaviors. After learning more about each animal, students were excited to gently pet some of their new farmyard friends.
