Fifth graders from Academy Street, Blue Point and Sylvan Avenue got a fun glimpse into their futures as they explored potential career paths during their career fairs on April 16, 21 and 22.
From aspiring teachers and scientists to directors and athletes, students dove into researching careers that sparked their interest. They shared their discoveries with third and fourth grade classes through interactive question-and-answer sessions, along with creative posters and brochures. Presentations covered everything from daily responsibilities and education requirements to salaries, work schedules, dress codes and the rewards and challenges that come with each profession.
