Bayport-Blue Point School District

On April 4-6, the Bayport-Blue Point High School debate team competed in the New York State Forensic League Debate Championship. Yuvraj T. (Gr. 12), George R. (Gr. 12), AJ C. (Gr. 11) and Willem A. (Gr. 11) competed in the public forum style of debate and argued both sides of the resolution: “Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its investment in domestic nuclear energy.” The team worked hard, faced fierce competition and had a terrific experience.
