Join us at the 4th Annual Community & Cocoa 5K on December 13 at 9am! There will be a 1/2 mile run for elementary students at 8:30am, followed by hot cocoa and Frosty the Snowman playing post-run in the auditorium. 5K starts at 9am. Let's run to bring awareness to mental health!

You're invited to join us for a special 5th Grade Fundraiser at Local Burger — a great opportunity to grab dinner with friends, support our students, and kick off the school year together!
Date: Thursday, August 21
Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Local Burger, Sayville
What to Expect:
Enjoy a delicious meal with your family while supporting Sylvan Avenue’s 5th Grade Class! 15% of all proceeds from the evening will benefit year-end events, class gifts, and other 5th-grade initiatives.
A Special Note for 5th Grade Parents:
If you have a 5th grader, we encourage you to stop by between 5:00–6:00 PM to meet with our 5th Grade Committee Chairs, Emily Mangano and Molly Bertran. This is a great chance to ask questions and sign up for upcoming events and fundraisers throughout the year.
This event is open to all Sylvan Avenue families — we hope you’ll join us in making it a fun and successful evening for our school community.
