English as a New Language students in Bayport-Blue Point High School hosted a group of English Language Learners from Patchogue-Medford School District for a day of sharing cultures and social-emotional learning. 

Students worked in groups to present on holiday traditions from their countries of origin and experienced the United States tradition of decorating gingerbread cookies for Christmas. Students then took a tour of the Bayport-Blue Point Library where they learned about all the resources that are available and enjoyed some time together on the grounds of the library and in the Teen Center.
