Congratulations to Bayport-Blue Point High School sophomore Sophia M. for being named to Newsday’s Top 25 Girls Outdoor Track and Field Athletes for the spring 2023 season. Sophia is an outstanding member of the BBP team, having won the Suffolk small school indoor title for the 3,000 event with a time of 10:03.25. She also finished fifth in the 1,500 event with a time of4:38.06 during the state indoor meet.
