Advisor: Mrs. Pitkewicz
Mathletes is composed of a group of mathematically talented students who compete in six math contests per year. The contests are sponsored by the New York Mathematics League. Each contest has six extremely challenging questions. The top five scores are reported and their total becomes a team score. Bayport-Blue Point students have consistently scored well and proudly represented the district. Mrs. Pitkewicz brings delicious brownies to each contest and there is a year-end awards party.
