Children should be given all necessary instructions before they leave home so parents can avoid telephoning the school concerning routine matters. The schools are more than willing to deliver and receive messages from parents or legal guardians in case of a valid emergency.

Teachers cannot be called from the classroom to answer telephone calls during regular hours. The individual school accept and relay any important messages to teachers.
