Back to School

The district welcomed students for the first day of the 2016-17 school year on Sept. 8.

As students made their way through the halls of the schools, the welcoming support of faculty and staff could be felt throughout the buildings. Upperclassmen were on hand to assist new students in their respective buildings; helping them navigate the hallways and find their classrooms.

During the school year, students at Bayport-Blue Point High School will have the opportunity to engage in such programs as an Advanced Placement computer science class. Additionally, the James Wilson Young Middle School has received next-generation classrooms, which will further enhance the students’ educational needs.
