Eighth-grade French classes at James Wilson Young Middle School put their understanding of the French language into practice when they recently visited Quebec City and Montreal.

The students learned about a wide range of topics, including the discovery of Quebec and Canada and how Americans were allies in the fight against the British. They also sampled the traditional Canadian dish poutine.

This was the 12th time the French classes have embarked on this memorable trip.
