      Michael is the Director of Physical Education and Athletics in the Bridgehampton School District. Michael and his wife, Kristen, have been Blue Point residents for the past 7 years. Michael was elected by his colleagues in 2016 to serve as President of the Board of Education. Additionally, he is a liaison to the district's Budget Advisory Committee and serves on the Policy Committee. Michael is a firm believer in education and is looking forward to serving the BBP community through his work with the Board of Education.

      Daniene and her family live in Blue Point, She is a JWY mom, and public education advocate. Her Board of Education service, which began in May of 2014, has grown to include: representing "Area 12" on New York State School Boards, Legislative Resolutions Committee; serving on the Bayport Blue Point School Board's Policy and Audit Committees; and on the ESBOCES RIC and Program Budget Committee. Daniene also holds a 3-year seat on the ESBOCES School Library Council, as the Suffolk County Region PTA representative. Her work within our community includes serving as both member and President of the Bayport Blue Point Library Board; President of the BBP PTA Council;Vice-President of the Blue Point PTA; and working on the school district's Budget Advisory Committee. She also is a supporter and founding member of SEED, an educational foundation for Bayport Blue Point students. Daniene holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Boston College, a Certificate in Painting from the New York Studio School, and recently completed her Masters in Public Policy from Stony Brook University. In 2016 she was appointed to the Suffolk County Women's Advisory Committee. She is a member of PDK International, the NY State Library Association, AAPOR, and the Empire State PTSA.
         

 

Gina Murphy,

      Gina is a special education teacher in the Brentwood School District with eighteen years of experience. Gina and her husband, John, have been Blue Point residents for ten years and have one son who proudly attends Sylvan Avenue Elementary School. Gina is a strong advocate for public education and safety. In 2014, she successfully created a referendum to reduce the mileage requirement for the busing of elementary students. She is excited to work with fellow members of the Board of Education and serve all facets of the Bayport-Blue Point community in order to make effective changes towards the betterment of the district's children.
         

 

Christopher Richardt,

      Chris is a veteran educator with nineteen years of experience as both a classroom teacher and school leader. For the past nine years, he has served as the Principal of Hampton Bays High School. He holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Stony Brook University, a Masters in Middle School Education and a Professional Diploma in School District Administration from Long Island University at CW Post. Chris and his wife, Lori, have been residents of Bayport since 2004 and currently have two children attending Sylvan Avenue Elementary School. He has served the Bayport-Blue Point community as a member of the district facilities and budget advisory committees. Chris believes that Bayport-Blue Point is a special place for kids to learn and grow. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve as a board trustee and looks forward to being part of the district's growth and development in the future.

Brian Johnson

       Brian is an Air Force Major and the Base Comptroller of the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach. Brian and his wife, Jessica, have been Blue Point residents for five years and have two daughters, their eldest currently attends Sylvan Avenue Elementary School. Brian is a liaison to the district's Budget Advisory Committee and serves on the Board of Education Audit Committee. Brian is a firm believer in education and fiscal responsibility. He looks forward to serving the community in his new role and hopes to strengthen his relationship with community members and district employees.

         

Molly Licalzi

       Molly is the Administrative Coordinator for Curriculum and Assessment at Eastern Suffolk BOCES.  Molly and her husband, Eddie, have lived in Bayport since 1995.  They have two daughters, Cassandra and Adriana, in the district.  Adriana is in 8th grade and attends James Wilson Young Middle School and Cassandra just started attending the ESBOCES program last year at Islip Academic Center and Islip Career Center.  Molly was a previous board trustee and served from 2008-13.  During the past election, two seats were left vacant and she was concerned for the community and students of this district and decided to serve once again.   She started her 3rd term on July 1, 2016.  Molly serves as the Legislation Monitor and N-SSBA Representative.  Additionally she is the NYSSBA Convention Delegate.  Molly looks forward to joining the current Board of Education and sharing her expertise as a previous trustee to ensure this district continues on an upward momentum to prepare all students for success.
