Bayport-Blue Point’s James Wilson Young Middle School National Junior Honor Society will be hosting its third annual St. Baldrick’s event on Thursday, March 14 from 5-7 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. This event is a volunteer-driven, head-shaving program committed to raising funds to find cures for childhood cancer. To date, the school has raised more than $1,400 in online donations and approximately $350 in cash donations for the cause.

In addition to seeking individuals looking to shed their hair for the cause, the students are in need of licensed barbers or stylists to volunteer at the event.
