Bayport-Blue Point High School Advanced Placement World History and Advanced Placement European History classes recently viewed works of renowned artists during a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.

Upon arriving, the students were able to marvel at the Greek and Roman display of stone sculptures, alongside multiple Egyptian artifacts. Inside the numerous galleries, they were amazed to witness the magnificent display of paintings, tapestries, sculptures, photographs, furniture, armor and crafts.

“The visit was resplendent with displays that capture the skills of multitudes with the allure of the possible, the inventive, and the range of human and nature’s endeavors,” said Bayport-Blue Point High School teacher Sean Meade.
