Bayport-Blue Point High School senior Nicoletta DiCocco is bound for Queens College this fall to continue her award-winning volleyball career as she studies veterinary medicine.  

The talented BBP Phantom was surrounded by her family, coach and district administrators as she finalized her commitment this spring during a Letter of Intent ceremony at the high school.

During her athletic career, Nicoletta has been named an All-Long Island, Suffolk County Super 7, All-County, League Player of the Year for League VII, Defensive Player of the Year for League VII and helped the varsity team capture the League Championship title during an undefeated season. In addition to her athletic accolades, she is an Advanced Placement student, member of the National Honor Society and plays flute in the high school band.
